Mountain Party Tents & Events is The Party Rental and Event Planning source of Western North Carolina, North Georgia, Eastern Tennessee and Northern South Carolina.

Specializing in events ranging from extravagant destination weddings to corporate events all the way to casual barbecues, we are here to serve all your event needs.

Our commitment to producing successful events enables us to consistently exceed the expectations of our clients.

 It all started 17 years ago when Owner Tom Sawyer began selling Christmas Trees in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Sawyer set up a few lots that required tenting to protect the trees from the Florida sun. His first tent purchase was underway and the wheels were turning.

At the time, the Sawyer’s had a second residence in Cashiers for over 10 years, but had visited the area since the early 1970’s. He started wondering..."Do you think anyone would want to get married under a tent in Cashiers?"

The summer of 1993, he purchased a few tables and chairs, and with his tents, set up shop in a small brick house in Glenville, N.C.

Now, 17 years later, Mountain Party Tents & Events is in a 12,000 Square foot building in the heart of Cashiers, N.C.
